I spent more than 30 years building and leading businesses in hospitality, where people, systems, culture and financial performance converge every day.

I built teams of hundreds of people and successfully navigated three supposedly “once-in-a-lifetime” business disruptions. Hospitality taught me to act with urgency, pay attention, anticipate needs, create environments where people can succeed, and hold high standards without unnecessary distress, while continuously making things better.

Hospitality is where I learned to lead. The lessons belong everywhere.

Today, through Robins Leadership Group, I work with CEOs, business owners and senior leaders facing consequential decisions, organizational change and the challenges of leading from the top.

The harder the decision, the more important it becomes to have people in the room who can see what you can't.
